LIM HONORS SPORTS CHAMPIONS: Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim honored Thursday the winners in the recently-concluded Palarong Pambansa 2008 held last April in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. The Mayor gave out cash incentives to gold medalist Rachelyn Astillar who got 6 gold and a special award for the most be-medaled Palaro athlete at the secondary level. He established a permanent settlement there and ordered the construction of the walled city of Intramuros. Nalupta and party for their first year as a city which Mayor Lim helped bring about during his term at the Senate. Lim was also made an adopted son of Batac City in Ilocos Norte. 7^th Filipino Chinese Friendship Day Celebrated: Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim congratulates Consul General of the Peoples Republic of China, Li Qin Feng who accompanied the officers of the Chinese Filipino Business Club Inc., for the successful celebration of the 7^th Filipino Chinese Friendship Day celebration at the Plaza Lorenzo Ruiz in Binondo, which saw the exchange between Filipino students of the P. Guevarra Elementary School and Chinese students from Chang Kai Shek College. From left are: Lino H.
