MANO PO LOLO! Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim placed a gamely lolo role as costumed children took his hand for a blessing and in turn receive from Lolo 20 pesos each. The Council for the Welfare of Children held its 16 th Children's Month Celebration at the Ground Floor of SM Manila, thereby attracting huge crowds of mallers. The Mayor was with from left are: Ma. SENIORS GET FREE EYE CHECK: Senior citizens were among the major beneficiaries of the cataract screening held last Wednesday at the San Andres covered gym by the Ospital ng Sampaloc for districts 4, 5 and 6. JUST LIKE THE OLD TIMES: Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim sprays paint on the money changing establishment along M.H. del Pilar and Arquiza, in Ermita to stress its closure. The Mayor, during his first term as Chief Executive of the City, sprayed paint on the homes of drug lords and pushers. Now, he is doing it again this time to notorious money changers. The Mayor has banned the issuance of new licenses for money changers. With the Mayor are Secretary (Atty.) Rafaelito Garayblas and (ret.) Col. BATCH 18 REUNION: Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim poses with the members of Batch 18 of Manila’s Finest during the annual luncheon reunion held at the Wah Yuen Restaurant in Escolta, right in front of the City College of Manila.
