FREEDOM HALL’S NEW LOOK: Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim opens the newly-renovated Freedom Hall at the south wing of City Hall, beside the Freedom Park flagpole where dignitaries used to be welcomed and given a tour of the entire City Hall. FREEDOM HALL’S NEW LOOK: It was abandoned for decades and converted into counters for the issuance of community tax certificate only. The renovation entailed changing the floors, ceilings, windows, walls and the chandeliers with new ones. The new chandeliers use the energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs.
LIM HONORS DOMINGO FRANCO: Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim honored Sunday Domingo Franco, one of the 13 martyrs executed in the field of Bagumbayan (Rizal Park).
