The Mayor also donated another wheelchair to Jerico Estrada, 22 years old from Doroteo Jose, Tondo, who has been suffering from dwarfism since his early childhood. The Mayor cited the case of Nestor Lucapa, a fresh cum laude graduate of BS Criminology at the City College of Manila who placed 9th in the recent board despite his poverty and Abraham Cariño, an honest tricycle driver who returned a green envelope with P53,350 in cash to the Mayor even if he himself needed the money so much to feed his family of four children and his wife. CASH FOR HONESTY: Manila Mayor Alfredo S. Lim hands over cash worth P5,500 from his pocket to tricycle driver, Abraham Cariño, 44 and resident of Blumentritt for his honesty in returning a green plastic envelope with P55,350 left by his passenger Thursday night to Barangay Chairman Danny Aquino of Barangay 385 Zone 39 (Quiapo) who in turn took Cariño to Congresswoman Zenaida Angpin and Angpin referred him to the Mayor. Cariño was presented a model for honesty by the Mayor to hundreds of participants in the regular Peoples Day at Bulwagang Villegas. He was also hired on the spot by the Mayor to work for City Hall.
